You will choose a single activity per person, along with an alternate, from the choices below.*

Isla Contoy Express FULL

8:45am – 2:45pm, lunch & drinks included, mild-moderate activity level

SORRY – THIS ACTIVITY IS FULL

For all nature lovers and those who enjoy the beauty and quietness of an uninhabited Island, Isla Contoy will delight! The island has been a natural protected area since 1961 and is the home of many species of birds.

The island is located along the north shore of the Yucatan Peninsula and a 40-minute boat ride from our marina. Our first activity will be snorkeling at Ixlache reef which is located right in front of Contoy Island and it’s a part of Contoy’s National Park. Snorkeling gear is included and the use of a life vest is mandatory. A bilingual guide for every 10 people will accompany you.

After snorkeling we will go visit the island where you will be able to enjoy its white sand beaches and the crystal-clear waters. Our guides will escort you to the interior lagoon of the island (a must for all bird watching lovers) and it’s secret passages or just relax on it’s a beautiful virgin beach. Become one of the lucky 200 people allowed daily in this ecological reserve. You can also visit the island’s museum and observatory, explore the scenic dunes and learn of the island’s flora and fauna species.

Prior to leaving the island you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch consisting of grilled fish and chicken, rice, salad, steamed vegetables, fruit, tortillas, water, soft drinks and beer.  (Distance from hotel to marina: 20 minutes)

Physical Limitations: No handicap facilities. Must be experienced swimmers to do the offshore snorkeling.

What to bring:  bathing suit, comfortable shoes/sandals, hat or cap, sunglasses, towel from hotel, camera, biodegradable sunscreen, and anti-nausea medication encouraged for those sensitive (avoiding alcohol is also recommended if you take the medication).

Sport Fishing Cha Chi

6:30am – 12:00pm, snacks & soft drinks/beer
included, moderate activity level

The waters of Cancún abound with fish, game species are plentiful – grouper, pompano, mahi-mahi, amberjack, great barracuda, sailfish, yellow tail and marlin. The boats are specially equipped for sport fishing and the crews are more than familiar with the area and can take you to the best fishing spots.  (Distance from Hotel: 30 minutes to Xtabay marina)

Inclusions:  Round-trip transfers via air-conditioned vans with cold bottled water; Pro Line Service 34’-41’ air-conditioned Charter boat with Captain and first mate; premium fishing gear; fishing flags & bait; fruit plate; premium beer, seltzer, water, soft drinks; Fishing license, Taxes, dock fees, and gratuities

Physical Limitations:  Not recommendable for people with back pain problems or easy seasickness.  Boat capacity: 6 people per boat.

Secrets Spa by Natura Bissé

This massage is designed to promote relaxation and reduce stress. It involves gentle, soothing strokes that help to calm the nervous system, ease muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. The pressure applied is light to medium, ensuring a comforting and tranquil experience. Ideal for those looking to unwind and rejuvenate both body and mind.

Relaxation Massage (50 minutes): This message uses long, smooth strokes to take you to a total state of relaxation, increasing circulation, while easing the mind and body of daily stressors.

Appointments are available on a first request basis.  When you register, please request a start time preference, and if you prefer a male or female therapist. We’ll do our best to accommodate. (Plan to arrive 30 minutes early to check in and change.)  Wheelchair accessible.

Inclusions: Use of Outdoor Hydrotherapy Circuit; 50 Minute Relaxation Massage; Use of spa facilities (lounges, locker room, sauna, hot tub, etc.)  Gratuity is included; additional for exemplary service is welcomed.

Mexican Cuisine Cooking School

9:30am – 2:30pm, lunch & beverages included,

Learn the secrets of Mexican food from a professional Mexican chef, master antique culinary traditional utensils, and share what you’ve made with your classmates! An amazing 3-hour cooking class learning the tricks behind great Mexican traditional cooking and the origins of each dish.

The venue offers an intimate setting at one of the best Mexican restaurants in Cancún which opened more than 40 years ago. Beverages and fresh fruit will be served during the class. Experience the real warmth of a Mexican kitchen using traditional tools like Molcajete (stone mortar), Comal (flat griddle), and clay pots. We will visit a local market to learn how to pick your ingredients before heading to the kitchen.  (Distance from hotel: 30 minutes)

Isla Mujeres Golf Cart Tour

8:45am-1:45pm, Water on bus, food/beverages are on your own, moderate activity

This is one of the best ways to spend time exploring this picturesque island just off the coast of Cancún. The island is 4.5 miles long and, in some spots, less than a half mile wide.  You will enjoy a beautiful cruise over to the island on a high-speed Ultramar ferry that makes the crossing in just 20 minutes. Once there we will do a guided tour of the island on golf carts (2 ppl per cart). Highlights of the tour are the amazing views of Cancun from the southern cliffs overlooking the stunning waters of the Bay of Mujeres, the rugged coastline of the east facing shore, and observing the lifestyle of the island’s inhabitants. Following the tour, you retain your cart to enjoy the beautiful public beach Playa Norte or continue exploring the island on your own. You can also shop ‘til you drop in the islands quaint commercial center. Bargains to be had are Yucatecan hammocks, reproductions of Mayan art, beach apparel, crafts and fine jewelry. We then enjoy a ferry transfer back to the mainland and on to the hotel. (Distance from hotel: 30 minutes)

ATV Xpress + Snorkel

8:30am – 2:30pm, lunch & drinks included, moderate-heavy activity level

Drive one of the most powerful ATVs in the destination for a wild ride down jungle trails, full speed ahead around curves and over roots and rocks. Our fleet of Can-Am 450 Outlander Max XT ATVs are waiting to take you for the thrill of your life!  The ATV tour lasts 1 hour. Afterwards enjoy a 30-minute swim and snorkel in our amazing cenote discovering the mystical wonders of the Mayan world. Finish this amazing tour with a savory Mexican feast!  (Distance from Hotel: 55 minutes)

Inclusions:  Round-trip transfers via air-conditioned vehicles with cold bottled water; Lockers, restrooms, showers, dressing rooms; ATV tour, zip lines, snorkeling and swimming in an open cenote; Safety equipment for all activities; Buffet lunch with non-alcoholic beverages including grilled chicken, pulled pork, sautéed vegetables, mashed potatoes, guacamole, beans, rice, pasta, salad bar, corn chips, tortillas, sauces, dips and churros for dessert; Medical and Collision insurance; Taxes and gratuities to the crew and service staff-no need to tip extra; Towel (take from supply near bus at hotel)

Physical Limitations: No handicap facilities. Not recommended for pregnant women or people with mobility issues, cardiac or respiratory problems, with recent wounds or surgeries, or those who can not participate in moderate physical activity. People under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed in the tour. Use of cameras or smartphones is not allowed during the tour, but GoPros are allowed as long as they are fixed to your body.  Zip lines do have height and weight restrictions.

What to bring: comfortable shoes/water shoes for driving (no flip flops), swim suit, hat or cap, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen, additional set of clothes for ride home, extra money for souvenirs.

General Dress code:  Ladies-Collared Shirt, non-denim shorts, skorts, or slacks. Gentlemen-Collared Shirt, non-denim shorts or slacks. Unacceptable attire-Bathing Suits, Short Shorts, Halter Tops, Heels, Metal Spikes, Jogging Shorts, Tank Tops, T-Shirts (Hat and sunscreen suggested.)   Note:  Clubs and Shoes are available to rent at an additional cost.

What to Bring: Professional footwear, clubs (if you don’t want to rent them), hat, biodegradable sunscreen, golf equipment and extra money for articles at the ProShop.

**Golf at reduced rates will be available on an individual basis, NOT as an option for a sponsored activity. Each player will book directly with the course, but be sure to mention you are with the Pollock group at Secrets Playa Blanca.  This cost would be your responsibility if you choose to play.**

Itching to shop?  Using an 18-passenger Sprinter van, we will take you to the chic, upscale shopping complex, Marina Puerto Cancún Plaza, which offers a diversity of shopping, dining and entertainment with the best outdoor setting, full of style and vibrant energy. Visit and live the unbeatable experience of shopping, eating and creating incredible memories with the best view of the marina.  (Note: Artisan crafts and local souvenirs are not the norm here.)

This shopping trip is only on Tuesday, October 22nd.  You choose when you want to leave and return via bus time slots below.  Shops open at 11 a.m.  (First come first serve on bus seats.)

NOTE:  Most activities and resorts ask you to use biodegradable sunscreen. You can find it on Amazon (search biodegradable sunscreen; common brands: Reef Repair, Coral Safe, Stream2Sea, Sun Bum) or purchase once you are in Mexico.
